There it goes again, once more around Laguna Seca’s 2.238-mile-long track, blowing by the competition. Not much can keep up with “The Last 935,” which looks like a normal 935 but actually is part American-built, tube-frame race car and part Porsche 935.
During practice and qualifying sessions on October 14-15, American Le Mans Series Driver Johannes van Overbeek kept the Coca Cola-liveried Porsche-Fabcar at the top of the charts — and you’ll see why in the following video. With around 700 horsepower on tap and a professional race car driver behind the wheel, it was one of the fastest cars on track.
