Finished in Guards Red over a Cashmere Beige interior, this 1991 Porsche 964 Carrera 2 Cabriolet features an optional 4-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission paired with its 3.6-liter M64 flat-six engine. It was sold new to a resident of Malibu and was purchased by its next owner from Santa Monica in 2018 who performed a major engine-out service and reseal. A lifelong Southern California car, this 964 is now being offered for auction with approximately 107k miles showing on the odometer.

This 964 is finished in Guards Red (L80K) with a black power-operated convertible top and matching tonneau cover. Equipment includes integrated fog lights, power mirrors, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a raised third brake light, and black Porsche-branded brake calipers mounted behind 16” Design 90 alloy wheels. New Continental ExtremeContact DWS tires were mounted in 2018. The seller notes the car has always been garage-kept and was recently detailed with a ceramic wax product. The Cashmere Beige interior features optional power-operated supple leather seats, a black four-spoke leather steering wheel, automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a central locking system. An air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 247 HP and 228 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 4-speed Tiptronic transmission that allows for automatic and manual gear changes. The seller indicates the engine was removed and resealed in 018 along with a valve job, transmission service, and installation of a new blower motor. The aluminum convertible top frame has also been repaired with serviced with new cables.
