This car has a 2.4 litre capacity flat four motor utilising 993 cylinders, pistons and heads etc and built by Dean with his proprietary 4 cylinder crankcase, crank and cams.
The car is a Texas delivered, non-sunroof, SWB coupe that was sourced by Dean for this custom project. Dean built, fitted, plumbed and wired the motor. John and the Benton team then rebuilt the remainder of the car. The rebuild was completed in 2019 and the car was then delivered to its Australian customer. The gauges were zeroed at this time and the car has done about 6400 miles since.
The car uses a 901 gearbox with factory style short shifter, upgraded adjustable sway bars, upgraded shocks, bias adjustable larger brakes with drilled rotors and deep 6 Fuchs with Pirelli CN36 tyres. The car has factory tinted glass, sport seats and a 911ST style sports steering wheel. The car also has a 911 style front fender mounted oil cooler and rear mounted dry sump with exposed lines.
The US title document accompanies the car.
This car provides the much praised 912 handling / weight distribution combined with the power of a well tuned 911 motor.
