On the technical side, these 3.6 liter cars developed a whopping 247HP
at just 6,100 RPM's, and a top speed of 159 MPH ! They really were
quite awesome, compared to the earlier Carrera's of the late 80's,
especially in the ride and handeling department. They had coil spring
suspensions that allowed much more precise tuning than the torsion bar
cars of the 60's to 80's! This particular example has had just two
meticulous two owners, and both were true to Porsches recomended
service intervals. In fact the 30k. major service with valve
adjustment was done at 21,483 miles when Stoddard had it Certified for
the second owner! It's gone only a few miles since, and is in
outstandingly 100% original and perfect condition today! (ok,..
there's one tiny stone chip, and a tiny wear in spot on the seat
bolster, but that's it,.. period) ;-) An exceptional example of one of
the hardest to fine, and best built Porsches,...ever!
